Reaction process H2SO4 + Pb

Process: Drop the solution of the dilute H2SO4 acid into a test-tube containing a small amount of lead metal and shake well.

Note: Lead has weak reducing properties. It does not react with dilute solutions of hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid due to the insoluble lead salts that surround the metal.

The result of the reaction H2SO4 + Pb
