ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (FIA)

If you’re looking for a solid foundation in accounting and finance, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) at Genesis Origo is a great choice

Designed to provide an entry point for those with little or no accounting experience, the FIA offers a comprehensive range of courses that cover key accounting, finance, and business topics.

With its global recognition and reputation for quality, the ACCA FIA is an excellent choice for those who want to start a career in accounting or finance. Plus, with the discontinuation of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) qualifications, the ACCA FIA is an even more attractive option for those looking to gain professional recognition in accounting and finance.

Standard conditions for temperature and pressure

Standard conditions for temperature and pressure are standard sets of conditions for experimental measurements to be established to allow comparisons to be made between different sets of data.

Standard temperature and pressure are also commonly referred to as standard conditions. Standard conditions may also include standard relative humidity.

Many definitions are also being used by other organizations regarding standard conditions (see table below); in which sometimes the concept of room temperature (about 25 degrees Celsius) is used instead of 0 degrees Celsius.

Alkali metal

Alkali metals are groups of elements in group 1 of the periodic table of chemical elements (except hydrogen). These elements are highly active and are rarely found in their pure form in nature.

Common characteristics of these alkali metals are: silvery white, soft with low specific gravity. Immediately react to elemental halogen.

Alkaline metal earth

These metals are referred to as alkaline earth because of their intermediate nature properties between alkalis (oxide of alkali metals) and rare earths (oxide of rare earth metals).

Transition metal

The transition metal is 68 chemical elements with atomic numbers from 21 to 30, 39 to 48, 57 to 80 and 89 to 112. The reason for this name is their position in the periodic table because it captures beginning of the transition due to the addition of electrons in the atomic orbit of class d.

If more strictly defined, transition metals are elements that form at least one ion with a partially filled orbital (orbital) d, i.e., d-element elements except scandium and zinc.
