Chì sulfat có dạng chất rắn kết tinh màu trắng. Không hòa tan trong nước, không hòa tan trong rượu, hòa tan trong amoni axetat (> 6M), hòa tan trong amoni tartrat với sự có mặt của amoni clorua và amoniac.
