1-Prôpanol là một loại rượu với công thức phân tử CH3CH2CH2OH. Nó còn được biết đến với các tên gọi Prôpan-1-ol, rượu 1-prôpylic, rượu n-prôpylic hay đơn giản là prôpanol. Nó được sử dụng như là dung môi trong công nghiệp dược phẩm cũng như để chế tạo nhựa tổng hợp và các este xenluloza.
Adrenalone là một xeton thơm. Nó là một chất chủ vận adrenergic được sử dụng làm thuốc co mạch và cầm máu tại chỗ. Trước đây, nó cũng được sử dụng để kéo dài thời gian tác dụng của thuốc gây tê cục bộ. Nó là dạng xeton của epinephrine (adrenaline). Trái ngược với epinephrine, adrenalone chủ yếu hoạt động trên các thụ thể adrenergic alpha-1, nhưng có ít ái lực với các thụ thể beta. Thuốc phần lớn đã lỗi thời, được thay thế bằng các chất cầm máu khác như thrombin, fibrinogen và các chất tương tự vasopressin.
