Photpho pentachloride là hợp chất hóa học có công thức PCl5. Đây là một trong những clorua phosphorus quan trọng nhất, khác là PCl3 và POCl3. PCl5 tìm thấy sử dụng như một chất khử clorua. Nó là chất rắn không màu, nhạy cảm với nước và nhạy cảm với độ ẩm mặc dù các mẫu thương mại có thể có màu vàng và bị ô nhiễm bởi hydrogen chloride.
Dùng làm nguyên liệu để điều chế butađien, isobutilen, xăng tổng hợp,... Hỗn hợp B với propan được dùng rộng rãi làm nhiên liệu; là thành phần chủ yếu của khí dầu mỏ hoá lỏng LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas). Ở Việt Nam, LPG bắt đầu được sản xuất từ năm 2000 (tại nhà máy chế biến khí Phú Mỹ, tỉnh Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu) từ khí đồng hành mỏ Bạch Hổ (xt. Khí dầu mỏ); sản lượng LPG năm 2002 khoảng 300 nghìn tấn nhưng vẫn chưa đáp ứng kịp nhu cầu tăng với tốc độ rất nhanh của thị trường trong nước.
