Substance NH4HSO4 (Amoni hidro sunfat)

Amoni hydro sunfat là chất rắn dạng bột, không màu đến màu trắng, hòa tan trong nước, độc hại khi ăn phải. Khi đun nóng đến nhiệt độ cao, nó có thể giải phóng khói oxit lưu huỳnh và oxit nitơ độc hại. Nó là một chất xúc tác hóa học, được sử dụng trong các chế phẩm tóc. Muối NH4HSO4 là sản phẩm của quá trình trung hòa axit sunfuric bằng amoniac. Nó cũng có thể thu được bằng cách thủy phân axit sulfamic trong dung dịch nước, tạo ra muối có độ tinh khiết cao: H3NSO3 + H2O → [NH4] + [HSO4] Hoặc cũng được sinh ra do sự phân hủy nhiệt của amoni sulfat: (NH4)2SO4 → (NH4)HSO4 + NH3
