MnO là một hợp chất vô cơ có tinh thể xám xanh lục, tan trong acid, không tan trong nước. Hợp chất này được sản xuất trên quy mô lớn, với công dụng chính là là thành phần của phân bón và phụ gia thực phẩm.
Crom(II) florua là một hợp chất vô cơ với công thức hóa học CrF2. Nó tồn tại dưới dạng một chất rắn màu lục lam. Crom(II) florua ít hòa tan trong nước, gần như không hòa tan trong rượu, và hòa tan trong axit clohydric đun sôi, nhưng không phản ứng với axit sunfuric hoặc axit nitric đặc nóng. Giống như các hợp chất crom khác, crom(II) florua dễ dàng bị oxi hóa thành crom(III) oxit trong không khí. Hợp chất được điều chế bằng cách thổi hydro florua qua crom(II) chloride. Phản ứng sẽ tiến hành ở nhiệt độ phòng nhưng thường được làm nóng đến 100–200 °C để phản ứng xảy ra hoàn toàn: CrCl2 + 2HF → CrF2 + 2HCl
