Substance CuFe2O4 (Cuprospinel)

Cuprospinel là một Spinel nghịch đảo có công thức CuFe2O4, trong đó đồng thay thế một số cation sắt trong cấu trúc. Cấu trúc của nó tương tự như cấu trúc của magnetit, Fe3O4, nhưng có các tính chất hóa học và vật lý hơi khác do sự hiện diện của đồng. Cuprospinel là một khoáng chất xuất hiện tự nhiên ở Baie Verte, Newfoundland, Canada. Khoáng chất này được tìm thấy trong một bãi chứa quặng lộ thiên, thuộc tài sản của Công ty Hợp nhất Rambler Mines Limited gần Baie Verte, Newfoundland.
