Ceri nitrua được sử dụng rộng rãi trong dầu khí, công nghiệp hóa chất, luyện kim, dệt may, gốm sứ, thủy tinh, vật liệu nam châm vĩnh cửu và các lĩnh vực khác. Vì vậy, việc nghiên cứu các hợp chất đất hiếm là rất quan trọng.
