Substance Cs2CrO4 (Cesi cromat)
Cesi cromat là một hợp chất vô cơ với công thức Cs2CrO4. Nó là một chất rắn kết tinh màu vàng, là muối cesi của axit cromic. Cesi cromat chủ yếu thu được từ phản ứng của crom (VI) oxit với cesi cacbonat, trong đó khí CO2 được tạo thành: CrO3 (aq) + Cs2CO3 (aq) → Cs2CrO4 (aq) + CO2 (g) Ngoài ra, phản ứng tổng hợp muối giữa kali cromat và cesi clorua có thể được thực hiện: K2CrO4 (aq) + 2 CsCl (aq) → Cs2CrO4 (aq) + 2 KCl (aq) Cesi dicromat khi kiềm hóa bằng cesi hydroxit cũng tạo ra cromat: Cs2Cr2O7 (aq) + 2 CsOH (aq) → 2 Cs2CrO4 (aq) + H2O (ℓ)
