Substance C6H5NH3Cl (phenylamoni clorua)
Bột tinh thể rắn, nóng chảy ở 198 °C và sôi ở 245 °C; hòa tan trong nước, rượu và cloroform; được sử dụng trong sản xuất thuốc nhuộm và in ấn. Còn được gọi là anilinclorua, aniline salt. Độc cấp tính nếu nuốt phải. Anilin và những dẫn xuất của anilin tạo nên methemoglolin, cản trở hồng cầu vận chuyển oxy, dẫn tới tình trạng thiếu oxy ở các mô tế bào. Tím tái do trong máu có methemoglobin (thiếu oxy và hôn mê bắt đầu từ 40-50%), chóng mặt, đau thắt ngực, mày đay, nôn, co giật, tan huyết, vàng da do tan tế bào, suy thận (vô niệu).
